Gold Mountain 20' × 40' Container Shelter Specs

The Gold Mountain C2040 Container Shelter is a dome-style canopy designed to mount between two shipping containers, creating approximately 800 sq. ft. of covered storage or workspace. The standard version uses a galvanized-steel single-truss frame.

Cover & Construction

The standard economical configuration uses an 11-oz polyethylene cover, while heavier PVC versions are also available. Depending on configuration, Gold Mountain offers 15-, 22-, 23- and 32-oz PVC covers. The fabric is designed to be waterproof, UV-resistant and fire-retardant.

The frame uses hot-dip galvanized steel tubing and mounts to the supporting containers using a twist-lock/clamp anchoring system. No welding is required for the standard installation.

Weather Ratings

One current C2040 specification lists:

• Snow Load: up to 48 lb./sq. ft.
• Wind Rating: 50 MPH
• Temperature Range: -22°F to 158°F

Those ratings depend on proper container placement, anchoring, assembly, cover tension and maintenance.
